Here is Lydia. Her father is Bushlea Viral and thankfully is a female from sexed semen. It’s only about 90% heifers. Some of the boys sneak through. She’s A2A2 and already sold to a lovely lady. A gift from her whole family for her 40th birthday.
Grace is now a mother and back in calf to Bushlea Viral sexed semen.
Grace is Stacey’s grand daughter. The day she was born was 45 degrees so I brought Stella and Grace into a stable and put wet hay on the floor. During the day I hosed them down and set up a mist spray with a huge fan.
Grace is a very exciting little heifer. Her father is Lynn’s Dairylike Ruler. His semen was collected on Jersey Island in 1976. Her mother, Stella, and Ruler are both A1A2 but Grace is A2A2. Jean is about to inseminate her with Itaska’s Fillpail Twinkler, another Jersey Island bull.
Grace is in calf to Itaska’s Fillpail Twinkler due on December 8th 2017.
